“Are we ready to face the consequences of digital era?” Vishal at Irumbu Thirai audio launch

Speaking at the audio launch of Irumbu Thirai, Vishal said, “The film’s core plot revolves around information theft. A lot of scams happen all around us. To our friends, well-wishers and more. My father was also a victim of information fraud. Are we ready to face the consequences of digital era?”

Vishal said Irumbu Thirai is his 24th film in his career. The movie produced by Vishal’s home banner Vishal Film Factory and directed by PS Mithran has been postponed from February 9th. Sources say the film is eyeing to hit screens on March 29th.

Vishal also appreciated Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music in the film. “Yuvan has delivered a terrific score for the film. He has composed separate theme tracks for me, Samantha and Arjun in the movie. We are planning to release the OST after the film’s release. Irumbu Thirai is Yuvan’s 125th film,” said Vishal.

The movie has Action King Arjun pitted against Vishal. “Arjun sir was my mentor when I made my debut in Chellame. He has a very meaty role in the film. He doesn’t play a cardboard villain character.”
