Review Overview
Katthi Parvakkari
Petromaxu Lightethan
Sonnathu Sonnathu
Unnaye Enniye (Unnaye Nambiye)
Peeche Peeche
Blatantly staid!
With stale tunes and unstimulating compositions, Bharadwaj's Aranmanai looks blatantly outmoded and uninspiring.

- Katthi Parvakkari – An old-fashioned tune which gets an added fillip in Karthik and Surmukhi’s soft vocals. Otherwise, a rinky-dinky composition from the veteran musician
- Petromaxu Lightethan – Hariharasudan and Velmurugan get an unstimulating tune and as the title suggests, the song has funny lyrics. Looks like a heavily reloaded (inspired) version of Vidyasagar’s soft kuthu numbers
- Sonnathu Sonnathu – Even for its outmoded tune, the song manages to engage in its runtime thanks to Harini’s beautiful vocals. And, thanks to Bharadwaj for bringing her back!
- Unnaye Enniye (Unnaye Nambiye) – A song which revolves around the film’s theme. Probably, a recycled version of one of the many amman songs we get to listen by the countryside during festivals, especially during the aadi maasam. But here, it is sung by Mukesh, Ananthu and MLR Karthikeyan; Mukesh’s vocals stand out!
- Peeche Peeche – Another annoyingly stale composition sung by three female singers – M.M. Manasi, MM Monissha, and Surmukhi. Perhaps, this club number is shot on film’s three female leads? (Hansika, Andrea, Raai Laxmi)
