Aranmanai 2 pushed to January 29th, confirms Khushbu
Sundar C’s multi-starrer horror-comedy Aranmanai 2 has been pushed to January 29th citing delay in post production. Sri Thenandal Films, who originally planned Aranmanai 2 for Pongal, will now release Vishal-Pandiraj’s Kathakali alone for the festival.
“#Aranmanai-2 is postponed 2 Jan 29th as v hve 2 give the best..CG work delayed due 2 floods n v wl not compromise on quality..tats a promise,” [SIC] said Khushbu on her Twitter page. Now, the Pongal race is firmed up with Kathakali and Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai.
Sources sugggest that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Gethu is ready to join the Pongal bandwagon if Rajini Murugan misses out and we have reliable information that Rajini Murugan will be inevitably pushed to a later date.
