Aramm Songs Review

Review Overview

Melam Kottudaa
Thoranam Aayiram
Pudhu Varalare

Towering orchestrations!

The whole soundtrack of Aramm has a very grand feeling to it, with excellent live orchestration. Even with the minute scope that the film has for music, Ghibran makes sure he gives it what it needs. Quality, that's what's important.

Cast: Nayanthara

Music: Ghibran

Lyrics: Sikkander & Uma Devi

Direction: Gopi Nainar

Label: Think Music

Melam Kottudaa: Singer – Gold Devaraj

Wonderfully put together with high quality, Melam Kottudaa is a different blend of live orchestration and a very rustic vocal setup of Gold Devaraj. The rhythm is near flawless, making it our PICK.

Thoranam Aayiram: Singer – Vaikom Vijaylakshmi

Another instrumentally rich song that is organised brilliantly with Vaikom Vijaylakshmi’s rendition. Listen carefully for some deep lyrics that bring about a lot of sense.

Pudhu Varalare: Singer – Sundarayyar

Despite an on-off rendition by Sundarayyar, Ghibran’s fantastic background control is what you have to look for in this track. Amazing how much maturity he shows in this category of music.
