After Anirudh, AR Rahman’s sister follows suit

Anirudh Ravichander was the talk of the tinsel town last month when he embarked on his independent music journey for a single titled Chancey Illa based on Chennai. Now, the song is under post-production stage and likely to be released this month. Now, AR Raihanah, Rahman’s sister is composing an exclusive track titled ‘Idhu Namma Chennai’ for the Madras week to be celebrated in August.

Leading playback singers will join hands for this single composed by AR Raihanah, the brand ambassador of Raindrops. It will be launched at a big event during the Madras week celebrations amidst a bevy of stars. “Raindropss is known to deliver social awareness messages to the public in the form of theme songs and short films, and we are sure this video will succeed in spreading the message,” said Aravind Jayapal, founder and creative head of Raindrops.
