AR Rahman’s nephew makes his debut
E R Azhar Kaashif , nephew of AR Rahman is entering the music world with his debut music video titled ‘Kannaley. The youngster who grew up listening to his uncle’s music has composed the romantic number. The song has been sung by popular singer Javed Ali and Saranya Srinivas, daughter of Singer Srinivas. The video is directed by Ashwin, cinematographed by Vijay Karthi Kannan and edited by Shridharan. The team has planned to unveil the music video today February 14th in the Big Tami Melody Awards event to be held in Chennai Trade Centre.
“This music is my passion since my childhood days. I often visit my uncle’s studio to learn the art of music composition. This is my first music video and it has been a big dream for me. Wishes of Rahman uncle and my brother GV Prakash are with me. Hope you all enjoy the music,” says Azhar.
