AR Rahman was recently at Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles and he met none other than his dream composer John Williams who is known for his frequent collaboration with Steven Spielberg and five coveted Oscar awards. In an interview once, Rahman said it’s a dream-come-true for him to work with the John Williams Orchestra. Also, recently when Rahman was honored with a doctorate by Berklee College of Music, he was compared to John Williams by Berklee President Roger H. Brown. “A friend from India described A.R. Rahman to me as John Williams and Sting rolled into one – a leading film composer and a wildly popular, brilliant songwriter and performer,” said Roger H. Brown.
Yesterday, Rahman took to his official Facebook page to share the excitement with a picture of himself and John Williams. “With the man himself after the amazing John Williams show at the Hollywood Bowl today,” posted Rahman.
