AR Rahman begins composing work for Mani Ratnam’s next in Goa

AR Rahman has begun the composing work for his next untitled multi-starrer movie with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam in Goa. The film is expected to start rolling from January 2018 and the makers are likely to announce the title by December end.

Starring Simbu, Fahadh Faasil, Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Jyotika and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles, the movie will have cinematography by Santosh Sivan. However, the recent complaints lodged against STR by producers in the TFPC have raised a question on his participation in the film.
