AR Murugadoss submits his reply to High court; case adjourned to Sep 16

We earlier reported here that Gopi from Minjur, Tiruvallur district has filed a case against AR Murugadoss for stealing his story Mootha Kudi as Kaththi without his knowledge. Now, AR Murugadoss has submitted his reply to the court. “I was not aware of the petitioner Gopi. I have never met him before and never discussed any story with him,” says AR Murugadoss. He has sought to dismiss the petition since if injunction is granted, he and his team would have to incur a loss of several hundred crores of rupess since it involves a star like Vijay.

The court has now adjourned the case to September 16th for hearing. As the team is gearing up for the audio launch, they are looking forward to win the case and go for a trouble-free event. The film is likely to release on the Deepavali day as planned earlier, says a reliable source.
