AR Murugadoss drops interesting details on Madharasi, his next Tamil biggie!

In an interview right after the title glimpse drop of Madharasi, AR Murugadoss has spilt interesting details about the film. In an interview to TOI, the director said “Just like the memory loss issue in Ghajini and sleeper cell in Thuppakki, Madharasi will also have an interesting element. I feel it’s too early to reveal it, but I am sure it will be unusual. The title is based on how North Indians view Tamilians, and hence we felt it will be apt. Anirudh came up with two tunes for the glimpse. While the first is the one we used, the second had the title in it and sounded superb. But since the glimpse had fast cuts, we did not use it. We will surely use it in the film. Anirudh has completed major work for the film, but for a background score song,” said the director.

Madharasi has only about 12 days of shoot pending, which is for the climax action sequence. The film will be wrapped up after the release of Sikandar, the Salman Khan starrer which Murugadoss is currently directing.
