Madhavan and Anushka Shetty’s silent film Silence (Nishabdham in Telugu) is eyeing to hit screens on February 20th worldwide. The makers are yet to finalize the date and an official confirmation is expected once things are sorted.
Directed by Hemant Madhukar, Silence is a silent thriller where Anushka plays a businesswoman who is speech and hearing impaired. Anjali, Shalini Pandey, and others comprise the star cast, which will also have Hollywood actor Michael Madsen in an important role. Following Pesum Padam and Karthik Subbaraj’s Mercury, this would be another silent film in Tamil cinema.
