Samantha’s quickest film in her career

Looks like Lingusamy’s directorial Anjaan is swiftly progressing and the team is on the verge of completing the shoot. Anjaan features Surya and Samantha in the lead roles for the first time. The team is currently in his penultimate schedule in Goa for a song shoot. “Last day of shoot for the talkies part of Anjaan. Just one more song left.. Definitely my quickest film.. #Anjaanrock s#Goa,” tweeted Samantha from her official account.

Anjaan is expected to be an Independence day treat for Surya fans. Bollywood siren Chitrangada Singh has reportedly been paid 1 crore for an item number with Surya. The film also features Vidyut Jamwal of Thuppakki fame and Manoj Bajpai (last seen in Vishal’s Samar). The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Santhosh Sivan. Film slated to release on Independence Day, August 15th.
