Anirudh talks about his inspiration for ‘Hola Amigo’
The single track Hola Amigo from the film Rum which was officially released in iTunes yesterday midnight has grabbed the attention of netizens. The song composed by Anirudh Ravichander has already made it to the top of iTunes charts within hours of release. The official lyric video will be released in YouTube today.
Talking about his inspiration for the song, Anirudh says, “The Spanish phrase ‘ Hola Amigo’ means ‘Hello Friend’ in English. I was in Cuba after my Canada concert tour. There I heard this word ‘Hola’ uttered by everyone on the streets and this word was lingering in my mind throughout that trip. That’s how the tune ‘Hola Amigo’ was born.” Anirudh is currently gearing up for his next international concert in Dubai on April 29th.
