Composer Anirudh Ravichander has signed a long-standing deal with market leader Sony Music, who will release all his independent music from now onwards. Sony Music will also indulge in marketing Anirudh’s live shows.
“Anirudh is someone we have been closely working with and feel that the world has so far only seen the tip of his vast talent. We are going to do something extraordinary, exciting and creative with him so that he becomes a global brand. There will be a number of exciting collaborations and we see him create music in many languages and styles,” said Shridhar Subramaniam, Sony Music Entertainment president of India and Middle East, in an official statement.
Anirudh’s upcoming albums include Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo, Rum, Ajith’s Thala 57, Mohan Raja’s untitled film with Sivakarthikeyan and Vignesh Shivan’s yet-to-be-launched upcoming project.
