Anegan satellite rights acquired for a whopping sum

As fans are awaiting the trailer of Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattathari which is bound to come anytime this month,  his next film Anegan with cinematographer-director KV Anand is in the news for good reason. The hearsay has it that the satellite rights of Anegan have been acquired by Sun TV for a whopping sum of Rs. 18 crores and that would be a trendsetting price for an actor like Dhanush if sources are to be believed.

Produced by AGS and directed by KV Anand, the film features newcomer Amrya Dastur starring opposite Dhanush. It has an ensemble cast including Navarasa Nayagan Karthik, Ashish Vidyarthi, Aishwarya Devan, Jagan, Thalaivasal Vijay and Mukesh Tiwari. It is also touted to be the biggest film in Dhanush’s career.
