The latest buzz in the tinsel town is Amy Jackson, who is awaiting the release of Shankar – Vikram’s big-budget extravaganza I, has backed out from Suriya’s Masss directed by Venkat Prabhu. Sources says Amy is worried that Nayanthara’s role in the film may jeopardise her stakes since the release of I is in the offing, which is expected to take her career to a new high. However, an official confirmation is awaited on this sudden retreat from the Madrasapattinam actress.
Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu, who is looking forward to a 20-day long Hyderabad schedule, has to find a replacement for Amy Jackson soon. The grapevine has it that Priya Anand, Amala Paul and Taapsee Pannu, who were approached earlier, refuted the offer since they didn’t want to play second fiddle to Nayanthara in the film.
