Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran is one of the biggest buys in the industry off late for an OTT platform, as Netflix has acquired the digital rights of the film for a whopping price of 55 crores. The project made a grand first impression with its teaser and first look, and that has heavily helped the business of the film.
Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran was sold to Prime for a price of 34 crores, and now the price of 55 crores for Amaran is almost double the former, which is a great growth shown by the star in a span of just two years. Amaran is shaping up superbly and is targeting an August 15th release in theatres this year.
