Amala’s special role in Kamal Haasan’s next

Amala, who is teaming up with Kamal Haasan after more than two decades, is evidently excited to share screen space with him. The duo shared a crackling chemistry in Pesum Padam, Sathya and Vetri Vizha, where she appeared only in the flashback. “I am doing a special role. I can’t reveal anything else, neither can I say whether I will be paired opposite Kamalji or not. Let it remain a surprise, as it’s too early for such details,” says Amala.

Directed by TK Rajeev Kumar, the movie is planned to be made as a bi-lingual in Tamil and Malayalam. The shooting is expected to start from December in the US.
