AM Ratnam to produce Ajith’s Thala 56; an urban action flick on the cards!

After a lot of specualations over the producer’s name for Ajith’s next film Thala 56, it’s finally been confirmed by reliable sources that AM Ratnam, who produced Ajith’s Arrambam and is currently producing the ongoing Thala 55, will bankroll the film. Directed by Siva of Veeram fame, the film is touted to be an urban action flick at a budget of 50 – 60 crores.

Siva recently denied that Hansika was considered for the female lead. As of now, Santhanam has been confirmed to play Ajith’s sidekick in the film. Other details about the cast and crew are awaited. The film is likely to go on the floors from December. Meanwhile, there is a fervent buzz in K’town that Thala 55’s first look with the title will be revealed in a day or two.
