“Akshara was born to act,” says Balki

Director Balki heaps praise on Akshara Haasan and says she has the best of both her parents – Kamal Haasan and Sarika. Akshara Haasan, who assisted Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam, is debuting as lead heroine in the Hindi film Shamitabh which is slated to hit screens on February 6th, 2015. “Akshara is clear proof that genetic science is true. She has the best of both her parents and seeing her perform, you feel that she was just born to act. Akshara has the tough role of controlling two men who are fighting with each other in the film and even though she has never faced the camera before, she is such a natural actor,” says director Balki.

Akshara Haasan will star opposite Dhanush in the film which has Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bacchhan in a pivotal role. Ilaiyaraja has composed music for the film.
