Ajith is not a playing a dual role in Thala 55

Contrary to reports surfaced earlier, Ajith is not playing a dual role in Thala 55 directed by Gautham Menon. There have been endless speculations about Ajith’s character in the film right from the start. Few weeks back, reports were ripe that Ajith is playing a dual role in the film which is rumored to be titled as Sathyadev(Ajith’s character name). A reliable source in the team denies it and clarifies that Ajith is not playing a dual role in the film.

“The story will revolve around Ajith’s character and the events that take place in his life from the time he is in his twenties till the time he is in his forties. That’s why the actor has been undergoing rigorous training,” reveals the source. It also confirmed that Trisha is indeed a part of the film and will not share screen space with Anushka in the film since the former appears in flashback sequence.
