Ajith targets family in Veeram
Ajith Kumar, who is riding success with his anti-hero roles in recent times shifts back to a pucca hero who will be against injustice, taking care of his brothers through his upcoming release for Pongal, Veeram. In a recent interview to a leading magazine, Director Siva had said that, “When the producer signed the film with Ajith sir, they wanted me to give him a film just like Enga Veetu Pillai of MGR’s. Ajith sir will be seen in this film doing comedy,sentiments,romance, action and it will be an in & out commercial entertainer. Ajith sir name in the film is Vinayakam and i’m very confident that this film will take him to family audiences”, says Siva.
Veeram currently progressing at brisk pace and nearing completion. Already the film’s 1st half editing part is done and the 2nd half is in progress as well. 4 songs shoot is done and once the editing over and by seeing the movie’s run time, the team will decide to shoot another song and to be included or not. As per the sources, movie is estimated to be around 145 minutes.
Veeram has Ajith, Tamannah, Vidharth, Avinash, Naaser, Appu Kutty and many others in the cast. It has music by Devi Sri Prasad and the audio launch of this film is expected around December 7th or in its 2nd week. This commercial entertainer is directed by Siruthai Siva and Produced by Venkatrama Reddy for Vijaya Productions.
