Aishwarya Rai joins the shoot of Ponniyin Selvan in Pondicherry

After the lead actors in Jayam Ravi and Karthi joined the shoot of Ponniyin Selvan in Pondicherry, we now hear that Aishwarya Rai has come into the sets to shoot for the film. The actress essays a dual role in the film, and will be sharing the screen with other names such as Trisha and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

The makers of Ponniyin Selvan had recently confirmed that the film would be released in two parts, with the first one set to be launched in the summer of 2022.
