After Simbu and Nayanthara, Vemal and Priya Anand follow suit
A month ago, Simbu and Nayanthara were shooting for Pandiraj’s Idhu Namma Aalu in a 1500-year old Shiva temple. The much talked sequence was said to be crucial to the story and cinematographer Balasubramaniem canned the scene with helicam shots. Now, it is Vemal and Priya Anand’s turn to shoot for a song in a set resembling a 1000-year old temple in one of the highest points in Kodaikanal for their upcoming film Oru Oorla Rendu Raja directed by R. Kannan.
“In this schedule, we filmed a song on Priya Anand and Vishakha in Dhanushkodi, and another on Priya and Vemal in Kodaikanal. The mornings were misty, and it was a rain song. And Priya and Vemal managed to pull it off. Brinda master has choreographed this number, the lyrics of which were penned by Yugabarathy,” reveals Kannan to a daily. The film will be wrapped up after this schedule and post-production works will kick-start soon.
