After Kaala, Rajinikanth’s 2.0 teaser leaked; makers peeved
After Kaala teaser got leaked hours before its official release on YouTube before it started to spread on other platforms, yesterday the teaser of Rajinikanth’s 2.0 directed by Shankar surfaced online.
Apparently, the teaser was screened at the birthday party function of Lyca Chairman Subaskaran Allirajah on March 2nd to a select group of VIPs and special invitees. “Someone had recorded it on their mobile and leaked it. The team was very peeved, especially director Shankar,” said a source in the know.
The makers yesterday released the 2.0 VFX Featurette to make fans happy and to contain the damage caused by the teaser leak. Sources say Lyca Productions and Shankar are planning to conduct a spectacular teaser launch event in Hyderabad sometime in April or May.
