After Kaala, Nana Patekar now roped in for Jayam Ravi’s next
After Rajinikanth’s Kaala, where he played the villain role, ace actor Nana Patekar has been roped in to play a crucial role in Jayam Ravi’s ongoing spy thriller with director Ahmed of Endrendrum Punnagai and Manithan fame.
Earlier, Ahmed had denied reports that the film was an official remake of Hindi blockbuster Baby directed by Neeraj Pandey. Ahmed has said that it’s an original script written by him.
Tentatively titled Jana Gana Mana, the film stars Jayam Ravi and Taapsee in the lead roles. Actor Ramachandra Raju, who played the villain role of Garuda in KGF, has been roped in as the antagonist. Rahman, Arjun, Dayana Erappa, Iranian actor Elnaaz Norouzi, and MS Baskar form the supporting cast.
