An instantly likable set of potential chart-busters!

Amudhangalaal
Idhu Enna Maayamo

Edharkadi: Singer – Dhruv Vikram 👍

Dhruv Vikram makes a superb singing debut in this instantly likable number that gets onto thanks to the lyrics and the beat. Dhruv naturally brings in his swag to the song, using the vocal modulations so well. Radhan’s celebrated composition gets interestingly modified for the Tamil scene. Our PICK.

Yaen Ennai Pirindhaai: Singer – Sid Sriram 👍

This is Radhan’s only original composition (not rehashed from Arjun Reddy) in the album, and it works like a charm throughout. Sid Sriram is magic, breathing life into the number which escalates so beautifully that it takes you along on a wonderful ride. Our PICK.

Dhooram: Singer – Dhvani Bhanushali

A very cute little song that works thanks to the vocals by Dhvani. The tune does sound repetitive after a point, but the song clicks and stays on.

Yaarumilla: Singer – Sid Sriram 👍

Sid Sriram once again casts his magic wand all over this lilting melody that has orchestrations that slide like honey. The various levels of the song are interesting to adapt to, making it such a winning listen on the whole. Our PICK.

Kanaa: Singer – Krithika Nelson 👍

A slow yet scintillating number that has a very nice ring to it. Krithika makes it very relatable thanks to her earthy vocals, and the fact that the song doesn’t punch too hard is its biggest plus point. Our PICK.

Amudhangalaal – Singer – Priyanka

Radhan’s most enjoyable track in Madhurame loses some steam in its Tamil version, as it gets lost in translation. Nevertheless, the intriguing beat of the song stays put and holds it together.

Idhu Enna Maayamo: Singer – Ranjith Govind 👍

A free-flowing, enjoyable song rendered fittingly well by Ranjith. Sivakarthikeyan’s simple, accessible lyrics are a positive here and help the song in the raises especially. Our PICK.

Except for one song, Radhan reuses his old tunes from Arjun Reddy for the album of Adithya Varma. But the good thing here is that the original essence is not lost, thanks to the laudable work on the lyrics by Vivek, Viveka, Thamarai and the others. Adithya Varma on the whole, works as an impressive album that will please the youth in full. Adithya Varma Songs Review by Siddarth Srinivas
