Abi & Abi Pictures acquires all-India theatrical rights of Kavalai Vendam
Abinesh Elangovan of Abi and Abi Pictures has acquired the all-India theatrical rights of director Deekay’s multi-starrer Kavalai Vendam, which is gearing up for release for the extended Ayudha Pooja holiday weekend, October 7th along with Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo.
Produced by Eldred Kumar’s RS Infotainment, Kavalai Vendam has Jiiva playing the role of a chef and Kajal Aggarwal as a software professional. It also features Bobby Simha, Sunaina and RJ Balaji in important roles. The music for the project is composed by Leon James of Ko 2 fame.
Chennai city rights of Kavalai Vendam has been snapped by GS Cinemas, whereas the release will be via Jazz Cinemas. All other TN areas and Telugu rights of the film is under negotiation.
