Aandavan Kattalai to have a direct theatrical release

After reports that Vijay Sethupathi’s Aandavan Kattalai will be sent to festivals like Manikandan’s earlier films Kaaka Muttai and Kutrame Thandanai, the team has now refuted it as rumors. The story revolves around the issuance of fake passports and how people are desperate to go abroad even with false passport arrangements. Manikandan has said that he has treated the film with a comical tone.

Aandavan Kattalai will have a direct theatrical release unlike the director’s previous projects. Produced by Gopuram Films, the movie has Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame as the lead heroine and is currently under the post production stage.
