A film titled ‘Simbu’ on the cards

Mahat who played an extended supporting role in Ajith’s Mankatha and Vijay’s Jilla will act in a film titled Simbu. Mahat is also one of the best friends of STR. The film is bi-lingual and will be titled in Telugu as Puri Jagannath. Films being named for stars is not new to Tamil cinema.  Even Rajinikanth acted in a film titled ‘Sivaji’.

When asked to Simbu about this, “I do have a reservation against using my name. But, the film has a genuine requirement and reason to use this title. And, I’m not queasy about it.” Will Mahat find his luck with Simbu?
