Yohan is dropped – GVM

Yohan Adhyayam Ondru – One of the most expected film since the date of announcement, power packed with classic entertainers like Vijay, Goutham Menon & AR Rahman, is dropped before going floors, says the director in his microblogging page.

This news wasn’t a shock for Vijay fans alone, it was to all cinema lovers and critic too. Initially it was GVM’s production house ‘Photon Kathaas’ own production film but later when the expectation raised, EROS international too came forward for the joint production. Everything went on well and it was said Yohan will kick start once Vijay wrapped up his Thuppaki & GVM finishes up his bilingual Neethane En Ponvasantham.

Since the Thuppaki title issue kept on pushed, there wasn’t any news regarding Yohan that when it will start rolling. The director last night posted in his Twitter account that ‘And to all the people who have been asking, yohan with vijay is not happening..No film with vijay now. A.L. Vijay is directing vijay’s next film. I’m finishing neethaane.. And then will figure out my next film..‘

This clearly shows that GVM will then commence his Thuppariyum Anandan with Surya as his next. But there is also a buzz spreads that GVM will prepare a new script for Vijay and it will be commencing by mid of next year. Though nothing is official, we can’t comment on the statement right now. So Vijay’s next will be with Director AL Vijay and it is expected to be a quickie! Vijay’s next after AL Vijay will be remake of Ek Tha Tiger is just a rumor or either will be in the starting phase of the talk.
