Visaaranai set for release on January 29th
After completing its fair share of run across film festivals through the globe, Vetrimaaran’s Visaaranai is finally gearing up for its theatrical release on January 29th. The movie, jointly produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran’s Grassroot Film Company, will be presented by Lyca International.
“After its festival rounds VISAARANAI releases on 29/01/2016.A hard hitting, intense film. Not suitable for the faint hearted,” [SIC] posted Dhanush on his Twitter page.
The film has been certified U/A by the censor board. Film buffs are already worried that only a diluted version will make it to the theatres since the team has not gone for an A certificate. Vetrimaaran had earlier mentioned that the theatrical version will be less intense compared to the festival cut.
