Bhooloham Movie Preview

With just one film, Jayam Ravi has skyrocketed past the other actors in his league. Thani Oruvan, which turned out to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2015, brought him a lot of love and respect as an actor. The film which reportedly grossed twice its making budget made both the trade and the public happy, as they eagerly look forward to his next. And now, comes his long-gestating Bhooloham.

Due to a lot of financial hiccups faced by Aascar Ravichandran, the film was lying in the cans for about two years. Finally, things have got better in the producer’s camp, as the announcement came forward that the film would go on to be one of the last releases in 2015.

As we approach the end of the year, Bhooloham will hit the screens in a sizable number of theatres, with Trisha being its next selling point, after the hero himself.

The film reportedly deals with a boxer who goes by the name ‘Bhooloham’, and his fights both in and out of the ring. Hollywood actor Nathan Jones who was a part of the starcast of Troy and the recent worldwide blockbuster Mad Max Fury Road, plays a pivotal role in the film.

We believe what we see in commercials. If an advertisement says, “If you eat this, you will become like this,” we trust them and buy the product. But, the corporate politics behind it will shock you. Our director has tried to convey how we fall prey to it

I got trained in boxing for three months to get into the skin of my character. I have lived my role as a boxer. I wanted audience to have credibility in my role and hence trained hard to achieve perfection. Peraanmai is the toughest film in my career. I should say Bhooloham was ten times difficult than Peraanmai

The pre-release buzz for the movie is favourably acceptable, and early reviews will play a huge rule in pushing folks to the theatres. If Bhooloham does turn out in Ravi’s favour, it will be a superb closure to 2015, paving way for his zombie thriller ‘Miruthan’ which is now in its final stages of production.
