Mahesh Babu was not happy the second half of ’24’
Suriya’s sci-fi time-travel story 24 has been making the right noises ever since the intriguing first look posters of the film were unveiled two days back. Now, a reliable source has revealed that the film was first offered to Mahesh Babu but he turned down the project citing some issues with the script.
“Vikram Kumar approached Mahesh Babu first and narrated the story. He really liked the first half, but was not happy with how the second half shaped,” says the source. Suriya plays a triple role in the film. He will be seen playing an elder brother, a younger brother and the son of the elder brother. The film stars Samantha and Nithya Menen in important roles. AR Rahman composes music.
