Sri Thenandal Films and Ayngaran line up two films apiece for Pongal

Sri Thenandal Films has lined up two films for the harvest festival, which is gathering steam thanks to a slew of release announcements in the last few days. Thenandal Films, which owns the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2, has now secured Vishal-Pandiraj’s Kathakali. Both films are scheduled for Pongal and official posters reaffirming the same are already out.

Meanwhile, Ayngaran holds the theatrical rights for Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai and Jayam Ravi’s Miruthan, which are also confirmed for Pongal. The box-office clash of four films with four different genres is going to be really interesting for movie-goers.
