Dhanush, Amala Paul and Revathy collaborate for a film

Dhanush, who has been garnering accolades for co-producting critically acclaimed films like Kaaka Muttai and Visaaranai, chooses a different story again. He is all set to collaborate with Hindi filmmaker Aanand L Rai of Raanjhanaa fame to bankroll the official Tamil remake of acclaimed film Nil Battey Sannata, starring Swara Bhaskar and Ratna Pathak Shah in pivotal roles.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who made her directorial debut with Nil Battey Sannata afer her 12-year stint in advertising world, will be helming the remake too. The movie, which deals about the heartwarming mother-daughter relationship, will go on floors in January. Amala Paul has been roped in to play the mother role and yesteryear actress Revathy will play her mentor. The daughter role will be finalized soon and an official announcement on the project is awaited.
