“I’m in talks to work with Suriya,” says Gautham Menon

Gautham Menon and Suriya once shared a heartwarming comradery. The duo faced a tiff during the pre-production stage of Dhruva Natchathiram when Suriya walked out of the project due to alleged conflict of interest. Later, Gautham maintained in several interviews that he was upset with Suriya’s gesture since the latter chose to send an official press statement on his walk-out instead of discussing it with Gautham.

Now, in his latest interview, Gautham Menon has revealed that he is willing to work with Suriya. “As a friend, I obviously did not expect Suriya to do that. I realized after five, six months that it was silly to keep the disappointment in a volatile industry like ours. I’m ready to work with him again. The things that Suriya do cannot be done by anyone else. The comfort zone and sincerity that I enjoyed by having Kamal Sir on the sets was also Suriya. I felt I shouldn’t lose an opportunity to work an actor of such calibre because of silly issues. I’m in talks with Suriya now to work together in a project,” said Gautham.
