Nani signs Mani Ratnam’s next

Actor Nani, who was last seen in Tamil in Aaha Kalyanam, has signed to play one of the lead roles in Mani Ratnam’s forthcoming revenge thriller. Reliable sources confirm us that the makers have brought in Nani as a replacement to Dulquer Salmaan. “Considering the fact that film is going to be a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu, Karthi and Nani as leads is a very good choice as far as the business is concerned,” says a source close to the team.

Nithya Menen and Keerthy Suresh are likely to be the female leads for the movie. Mani is looking for a efficient co-producer in Telugu who will help market the release and co-fund the project. The film is expected to roll out in December.
