“Ajith was encouraging and supportive,” says Ashwin Kakumanu

Ashwin Kakumanu, who plays an importnt role in Ajith Kumar’s Thala 56, recalls his working experience with the actor for the first time in Mankatha. “I was a newcomer, having done only a small role inNadunisi Naaygal. Ajith was encouraging and supportive, giving me the right kind of advice to improve,” says Ashwin.

“I learnt a lot during the making of Mankatha and ever since, I have been waiting for an opportunity to work with him. I grabbed the role when director Siva offered it to me,” adds Ashwin who is awaiting the release of his supernatural thriller Zero. He is also part of Thiri, which is on the verge of completion.
