“I didn’t copy Dulquer,” says Arya

Arya, who reprises the role of Dulquer Salmaan in the Tamil remake of Bangalore Days, has performed the role in his own way. “Bangalore Days was such a beautiful film and if we can recreate even 75 to 80 per cent of the film, it’ll be a success. I didn’t copy Dulquer but did it in my own way,” says Arya.

Directed by Bommarilu Baskar, the yet-to-be-named remake features Arya, Bobby Simha, Rana Daggubati, Parvathy Menon, Sri Divya and Raai Laxmi in the lead roles. There are also reports that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will reprise the role of Nithya Menen in the film.
