The common ‘time travel’ factor in Puli and Indru Netru Naalai

Looking at it closely, both Vishnu’s Indru Netru Naalai and Vijay’s Puli have something in common. Both the films are supposedly based on the concept of time travel, something which is familiar only in Hollywood and slightly in Bollywood.

Indru Netru Naalai which releases this week, is about the travails of a man with a time machine. The film’s trailer which was released earlier opened to a fantastic response on the social media space. While things are yet to be confirmed in Puli, the shot of Vijay swooping into the historical world through a shining portal is something that few have noticed. Let’s wait and see as to how these two films will be similar, and different.
