Kamal Haasan hints at teaming up with Mani Ratnam soon
Nayakan is one of both Kamal Haasan’s and Mani Ratnam’s landmark films in their respective careers. Both Mani and Kamal were asked about teaming up again on many occasions, but the duo smartly dodged it. Now, Kamal Haasan, who is busy shooting Thoongavanam, has hinted at joining hands with the auteur again very soon.
“All I will say is, the answer to the question that haunts both of us – why not another film together after Nayakan – will be answered soon. Nayakan is no doubt the most influential film of my career. I suspect Mani feels the same,” says Kamal Haasan.
Sources say it could be a Tamil-Hindi bi-lingual after Kamal completes Thoongavanam. Keep your fingers crossed to witness the legends coming together again!
