Nayanthara in talks for Rajinikanth – Ranjith’s next

Nayanthara, the doyen of South Indian actresses, is in talks to play the lead heroine in Rajinikanth’s upcoming project with director Ranjith. Nayanthara is one of the lucky few who has shared screen space with Rajinikanth on many occasions – Chandramukhi, Kuselan, Sivaji. Nayanthara is also being considered for Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film which was announced a week back. If she bags these two projects, it will be the ferocious high of her coveted career.

She is already part of Karthi’s Kashora, Jiiva’s Thirunaal and has pending songs left to be shot in Simbu’s Idhu Namma Aalu. Her next release is Suriya’s Masss which is slated for May 29th.

Meanwhile, Santhosh Narayanan hinted on his Twitter page that “interesting announcements are coming in the next week.” In all likelihood, the official announcement of Rajinikanth 159 will be made next week.
