Demonte Colony Songs Review

Review Overview

Vaada Vaa Machi
Dummy Piece
Trap of the Beast
The Mystery Unfolds
The Curse of Demonte

Limited but chilling debut for Keba Jeremiah!

Within limited scope, Keba Jeremiah comes up with a decent little album which has its moments. Come the film, he will be able to exhibit more with the addition of the background score.

Cast: Arulnithi

Lyrics: Na.Muthukumar, Arunraja Kamaraj

Music: Keba Jeremiah

Label: Orange Music

Vaada Vaa Machi: Singer – Anirudh

With Vijay’s ‘Vaazhkai Oru Vattam da’ dialogue at the start, this party song is peppy from the word go. Anirudh’s voice adds the much needed zest to kick off the album on a high. The pipe hook has a lovely interlude towards the end, this track will surely make it to your playlist. Our PICK.

Dummy Piece: Singer – D. Imman

Imman’s rendition is the high point of this track which is bent on a jazzy flavor. It ends up being a harmless track which is light on the ears.

Trap of the Beast: Singers – Ranina Reddy and Arunraja Kamaraj

An underwhelming metal track which doesn’t excite much.

The Mystery Unfolds: Singer – Andrea

A chilling theme tune with the addition of Andrea’s hum. When dubstep enters, it does get better.

The Curse of Demonte: Instrumental

Another theme track which will aid creating the eerie mood of the film.
