Interim stay against Boologam release

The Debt Recovery Tribunal has issued an interim stay against the release of Aascar Ravichandran’s long-gestating film Boologam. The interim order is in response to the Sriram Nagar branch of the Indian Overseas Bank who funded money to the producers of the film. The bank has also requested the DRT to issue an order to refrain Aascar Ravichandran from distributing the rights of the film.

Now, the film’s release will be allowed only after the loan amount lent by the bank is settled. Boologam stars Jayam Ravi and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles and was completed three years back.
