Kanchana 2 release date locked!
The release date of Kanchana 2, the much awaited third instalment of the successful Muni franchise, has been locked by Sri Thenandal Films who holds the theatrical rights. It will see a wide release on April 10th, a week after Udhayanidhi’s Nannbenda and Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villian see the light of day. Mani Ratnam’s O Kadhal Kanmani may also release on April 10th/17th, says a source.
Directed by Raghava Lawrence, Kanchana 2 has Lawrence and Taapsee Pannu in the lead. While Nithya Menen plays the ghost, Devadharshini and Kovai Sarala play important roles.
