“OKK is a beautiful new-age love story on contemporary relationships”

Nithya Menen, who plays the female lead in O Kadhal Kanmani, raves about the Mani Ratnam’s film-making style and approach. The film has been shot in sync sound and Nithya Menen seems to have quite enjoyed it. “O Kadhal Kanmani is a beautiful new-age love story that focusses on contemporary relationships. My character is something that everyone can relate to. I have worked with several veteran filmmaker but what makes Mani sir different is his attitude and approach to his craft. He is the kind of person with a ‘Nothing can stop me’ motto,” she says.

Nithya Menen’s upcoming films in Tamil include Cheran’s JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai, Appavin Meesai and Raghava Lawrence’s Muni 3 where she plays a ghost.
