“The audience will feel like they’re having warm popcorn,” says Lakshmi

Lakshmi, who is paired with SP Balasubrahmanyam in the upcoming film Moone Moonu Varthai directed by Madhumitha, says the audience will feel like they’re having warm popcorn in December. “It was a paid vacation, there was nothing much to work for. We were very comfortable acting with each other,”says Lakshmi on working with SPB.

“It is beyond the formula-driven, boy-falls-in-love-with-girl -dances-with-lungi-between-teeth kind of movies. It is definitely pleasant,” adds Lakshmi when quizzed about the film. Moone Moonu Varthai is produced by SP Charan’s Capital Film Works and stars Arjun Chidambaram, Aditi Chengappa and Venkatesh Harinathan in the lead roles.
