“Vijay’s stardom belongs to him,” says SAC

SA Chandrasekhar, who introduced Ilayathalapathy Vijay, says the stardom and fandom he enjoys now belongs to him. “I introduced him. I made quite a few films for him during that phase. But hey, I only gave him that push. It takes talent and dedication to use that launch and make something of it. All credit must go to him,” says SAC.

He also adds that Vijay has been advising him to put a full stop to direction and take rest. “We discuss cinema casually at home, but that’s it. I don’t advise him on his career, and vice versa,” says SAC. Apparently, AR Murugadoss, who watched Touring Talkies, has showered praise on the film.
