Ilaiyaraja has composed 12 songs for Thaarai Thappattai

Director Bala’s upcoming film Thaarai Thappattai, which marks Isaignani Ilaiyaraja’s 1000th film in the industry, has 12 songs in total, according to the latest reports. The story, which is loosely based on the life of Karagattam dancers, has many bit songs in the narrative which will enthrall you at regular intervals, says a source.

Ilaiyaraja is already said to have recorded 12 songs with live orchestrations. The film has Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles. RK Suresh, the managing director of Studio 9 Productions, plays the baddie.
